A creative a playful day learning the steps and techniques required to create botanical cyanotype prints, with the use of plants and flowers.
A Summer 2025 class will be held in Edmonton (Highlands neighbourhood), Alberta on July 20, 2025 .
Time: July 20, 2025 10:00 AM-3:00 pm
Location: Highlands neighbourhood. Location will be given at registration.

Price: 150.00. Snacks, iced tea and all supplies included. This class is hosted by Elvira Kotuk. All supplies included. You will go home with a an armload full of prints and an arsenal of techniques.

Workshop Description:
In this class you will create your own Cyanotype series on a variety of substrates: water colour paper, vintage papers, canvas, fabric and mixed media paper. Your prints can be framed, made into cards or used as fodder for other art projects.
Experiment with traditional and alternative techniques.
Standing and walking is required.
Practice dry, wet and alternative cyanotype techniques and toning to achieve stunning and one-of-a-kind sun prints.
Discussion and demonstration of mounting and displaying your art work.
This is an active class. We will be standing, walking.
Lunch: Snacks and ice tea provided. You will have time to have a lunch break if you want to bring one.
